I had just gotten the stuff to finish my current deck as i walked out of the house this morning (thank ya Dk, looks like they made it after all.) Anywho.... 1st: THE DECK!!!! (what i use to compete in such tourney's) Monsters: 20 Junk Synchron x3 Nitro Synchron x2 Turbo Synchron x1 Rose, Warrior Of Revenge x2 Summoner's Monk x2 Mystic Tomato x1 Quilbolt Hedgehog x1 Tuningware x3 Cyber Valley x3 Cyber Dragon x1 The Tricky x1 Spells: 17 Reinforcement of the Army x1 One For One x2 Machine Duplication x3 Mind Control x2 Instant Fusion x1 Reasoning x1 Pot Of Avarice x2 Monster Reborn x1 Brain Control x1 Heavy Storm x1 Book Of Moon x2 Traps: 3 Bottomless Trap Hole x2 Mirror Force x1 Extra Deck: 15 Junk Warrior x1 Nitro Warrior x2 Armory Arm x1 Stardust Dragon x2 Red Dragon Archfiend x1 Black Rose Dragon x1 Thought Ruler Archfiend x1 Colossal Fighter x1 Arcanite Magician x1 Goyo Guardian x1 Magicial Andriod x1 Gaia Knight, The Force of Earth x1 Musician King x1 Yea pretty much my junk deck that i posted with a few last minute Changes. 2nd: THE DUELS!!!! Well first off me and my buddy get to my local's, sign up and get our pack for entering. (i pulled an Elphin and a One for One.) Anywho, shortly after that the rounds start. Orginally i had the bye (cool ,eh?) but it turns out that one guy's apprently didn't sign up, so he got to duel me. Downside for me, he's one of the best guys there.......GAH!!! so it's Round 1: Brandon (Junk deck) V.S. Andrew (Blackwings) Duel 1: He goes, i bring out some fun stuff. He bring out more fun stuff. (overall i don't really remember what happened, but i did see a Tragoedia in there.) But whatever i lost. Duel 2: I got out my tuningware combo, brought out colossal fighter. He goes and Brain controls me, then synchro's into Dark Strike and then finishes me off....GAH!! Thoughts on the round: overal i wasn't that mad i lost. My deck played well, i was just a bit unlucky. Heck it happens. Result: 0-2 (GAH!!, I"LL DO BETTER NEXT TIME) Round 2: Brandon (Junk) V.S. some kid named Zach (oppression Gadgets) Duel 1: Saw Oppression and just about crapped myself......yea.....couldn't do much.... Duel 2: Heavy Stormed his Oppression and wrecked from then on. Duel 3: I do something, he did something, i did something, he solemn's that and i get ticked, he does something, i mirror Force, i do something like Bring out Colossal Fighter and say SUCK IT!! and he did... okay not litterally cuz that would have been odd. Thoughts on the round: I hate oppression and i'm pretty sure i almost broke into a sweat from it, but overall i came though. YEA!!!! Results: 2-1 (YEA!!!! EAT THAT OPPRESSION!!!) Round 3: Brandon (Junk) V.S. Elvis (Blackwings) LETS DO THIS CRAP!!!! (btw i don't know if his name is actually elvis, everyone just calls him that.) Duel 1: he goes, bora, gale, synchro into armor master, end. I go, Mind Control his armor master and play turbo synchron for colossal fighter, and atk. He goes, drops the dark armed, and brain controls my colossal fighter.....(AGAIN WITH THIS BULL CRAP!!!!) Duel 2: I open with 2 mind Control, 2 one for one, 1 pot of avarice and cry with tears of "FML". and yet i somehow won that one, yea i don't get it either....wierd eh. Duel 3: He won, thats about all i really remember. Twas a pretty good duel thou. til the end part when he dropped dark armed again. Overall thoughts: dude used Cyber Valley in his Blackwings as well as mind control, it was a nice change (card wise, dueling wise not so much) Results: 1-2 (GAH!!!!!) Round 4: Brandon (Junk) V.S. Some guy who acts like he knows me, oh and did i mention he's a little creppy (spellcasters) Duel 1: i Wreck him... Duel 2: I wreck him AGAIN!!!! Overall Thoughts: I got my daily dose of Noob that makes ya feel better about urself Results: 2-0 (CRUSHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!) 3rd: My Closing comments and thanks and ya, maybe a link to a free pass to get a CCV for a FREE!!! Anywho, overall i was happy with the way my deck preformed, I'm seeing a few weaker cards like the tricky or Quilbolt, even the mystic tomato was meh. Dup didn't make as much of an impact as it normally does in fact i think i barely played it today, wierd eh???? Once Again thou, i was quite content with my dueling today, and i went and got some Qdoba with my buddy to celebrate!!!!! (okay it was more like, OMG I"M SO HUNGRY, but hey whatever.) I don't use Turbo warrior mostly cuz i don't have room inn my extra deck. also there is only one way to bring him out, but ehh we'll see. I don't hit lv. 6 as much as i used to. so I may put him in just for kicks. hmm, if i start running De Synchro i think we will have to change the style of this deck up a bit, so yea lets work on that later.
