Awww,. xD Well I hope you stay up to date. If you don't judge at official tournaments your going to need to take that test over and over again every month. |

Well for what its worth, I don't think its a big deal for somebody to bump a topic, what with activity being low, me spending most of my time on ETC. Also, where did you hear that people will have to retake the test every month? If anything, I was under the impression that taking the test multiple times was frowned upon, what with the pointless extra work for Julia & friends to deal with. In reality though, all the online lv1 test does is place you into a database where your contact information is easier to get at once you get recruited to judge Regional & higher level events. Its really not all that special in terms of making someone a judge, since that's done through actually volunteer one's time. Edited by Val, Jan 7 2010, 02:20 PM.

A one on one discussion between me and Julia on facebook. Its to weed out the bad judge's in a sense. The information stays in the computer but your certification won't. Get it? Its to prevent people from going around saying. "yea I'm a judge ect ect." And giving BS rulings. One person I know gave the ruling Volcanic Rocket can't grab "tri-blaze accelerator". Its to help prevent idiots like that appearing like wild fire. If you stay up to date on rulings and what not its easier. True though there is no limit to how many times you can take the test. But there is also no limit to how many times you got to study every ruling very carefully to pass it. |

To be honest, I've lost count as to the number of incorrect rulings that I've seen justified by "I'm a judge", so I understand what you're saying. |
