Posts: 1,394 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Jun 18, 2009	I used to play Sapphire/Emerald/Ruby for the longest time, and I mean the LONGEST time then started playing Fire Red, but for some reason I seem to like the Hoen region maps the most, probably because I've played them the most but yeah. I only carried 4 Poke'mon with me usually, Swampert, Vaporeon, Meowth(I never evolved him) and Flygon. Probably the best games to ever be released on a hand held console.

Posts: 504 Group: Ex-Staff Member #7 Joined: Aug 8, 2009	I have to agree on a global scale Pokemon is probably the best handheld game ever made (even tho i easily prefer Fire Emblem). I played the Red Blue and then Fire Red/Leaf Greens. couldnt stand the Ruby/Diamond etc. Im VERY retro lol, the originals or nothign. though i never played Gold/Silver so look forward to trying out the remakes

Ender86 Posts: 506 Group: Members Member #60 Joined: Sep 10, 2009	I'm with nyjets on this one. I loved the originals and the remakes of red n blue. I enjoyed the gold/silver/crystal versions, and probably wouldn't mind playing the remakes of those. But after that, my interest rapidly declines.

I don't IV breed though, I just trade for good IV bred Pokemon, it's actually pretty easy if you know your way around the internet. They're legit by the way. I play OU. I've been out of practice for a while, but I got 2nd at the last site-wide tournament of a pretty big Pokemon forum.
