Okay, as most of you know, you have the option of giving somebody +1 or -1 reputation. These reps can be given for an exemplary post or comment, something insightful or useful, or for helping you out, in the case of positive ones. Negative ones can be given for somebody being disrespectful, spamming, obnoxious, etc. While these reps don't really have a purpose other than showing how much we can trust a specific person and showing the quality of what they post, DO NOT GIVE A NEGATIVE REP FOR NO REASON. -If you are giving a negative rep: BE SLIGHTLY SPECIFIC. If you say "being rude" then, okay, that's a reason. If you say, spamming, then okay, that's a reason. putting no reason or something like "just cuz" is not acceptable. Consequences: If you negative rep somebody without putting a reason, you will receive a PM asking why you negative repped them, and you better have a damn good reason. Either way, I'll counter your -1 with a +1, however, you may -1 them again IF YOU PUT A REASON, BUT I WILL NOT DO IT FOR YOU. If you tell me you had no reason, you will get a -1. This isn't that difficult to follow through on. I do believe that sometimes a double neg is accidently given, so if that's the case, just let me know. (Example: D-Watch gave Bherrel two -1's with no reason in one minute, that was most likely unintentional, or at least the 2nd one, Bherrel your 3 -1's with no reason have been countered) Thank you -Dan |
