Please use this link to access Pokémon TCG Rules and Resources: http://www.pokemon.com/us/organized-play/tournaments/rules/ Slightly expanding on the rules... 1.) Up to six cards of your deck may be foreign language. You must provide a local language version either with a card or with the official card dex. Effective for the 2011 tournament year, no foreign language cards may be used in your deck. 2.) Cards from previous sets may be used granted they have been reprinted in the Diamond & Pearl, Platinum and HeartGold & SoulSilver series onward, and the text has not significantly changed.
